An FBI approved channeler is a certified entity authorized to electronically capture fingerprints, complete applications, and submit them directly to the FBI on your behalf. This eliminates the need for you to mail applications or wait for processing delays. As an approved FBI channeler, we handle the entire submission process and provide your results electronically or via hard copy.

On average, electronic FBI reports are available for download in less than 24 hours. In some cases, however, it could take up to 5 days. Those interested in physical copies, the results can be delivered as fast as overnight or as long as 7 days — depending on the shipping speed chosen.

Generally, apostille services require the FBI results to be in hard copy format and some times unopened. However, there are some foreign embassy’s that do permit FBI reports in PDF format to be uploaded and apostilled. Please check with the appropriate foreign embassy for their requirements.

Great news! If you go through an approved FBI channeler, such as us, you do not need to bring any applications to your visit. Our office has the required applications you need to obtain an FBI criminal history report. Everything will be completed and submitted to the FBI from our office. Nothing further is required of you other than filling out the paperwork and getting fingerprinted.

It depends. If using the FBI report for international purposes, there is typically a cap on how recent of a report can be used. On average, foreign countries require the report to be no older than 3 – 6 months. Anything beyond that, you will need to have another application and set of fingerprints completed. Since every country has different regulations in place, it is best to contact that country’s embassy for more information.
